Description
The entire stretch of Mass. Ave. from the Stop & Shop east to 16 needs clear lane lines painted in the road. People wander all over the road and stack up behind left turners because they don't know they can go around and use the right lane. By Stop and Shop (heading west) the road becomes one lane, but it isn't clearly marked that it narrows to one lane. It is dangerous and confusing to unfamiliar drivers.

Mark introduces new issues about delivery trucks and bicycle lanes, which were not part of my original topic. The issue concerning commercial vehicles should be taken up with local law enforcement as far as enforcement versus non-enforcement, given the logistics. The bicycle lane topic has already been worked out separately by the town.
To my topic, since there ARE currently clear and distinct lane lines for FOUR lanes on Mass Ave at the intersection of 60, I suggest the lane lines follow through all the way down the road or, if not, there should be a sign just after the intersection saying "Single Lane Ahead."
I'm closing this because I'm moving out of town. Anyone else with interest can take it up.
