I agree that it is a concern if you live on this road. Not knowing how far away you live or if you have children, I can speak from my experiences growing up in a different part of town where people sped and it was dangerous for everyone. People would use our street as a cut through and they didn't care if we were at the bus stop in the morning or not. Our street was curved and basically a blind corner and people would still speed. I say it's a concern and you don't need a hobby. This is what the site is for. Maybe stowelady needs a hobby instead of putting down others.

I personally have seen 3 accidents there myself and have avoided having an accident bc i know how dangerous it actually is there, The police are doing what they can, i agree, but there needs to be more done, it should have a light or something, you can't tell me there isn't enough traffic at that light to warrant a light there.

Heading into Stowe you can barely see the stop sign as it is about 5' to the right of the intersection. Move the sign closer. Maybe a flashing light on the sign would help also.

I am frustrated at people who treat this intersection as a four way stop and turn left instead of coming to a complete stop and they waiting until oncoming traffic has completely gone thru.

I have been stopped there and have seen more police there. It's just an inconvenient corner where the stop sign is much further back than where you need to be to see crossing traffic.

This intersection needs a 4 way stop sign. I live down the road and I have seen too many close calls and too many accidents at that intersection.

Some people regard this intersection as a four-way stop. It isn't. Wait for all oncoming traffic to proceed before making your left or right turn.
