But what does this mean? Who is in charge of the investigation, and what will this entail? If there's an ongoing investigation, why is the matter considered "closed"?

This does not mean that we consider the matter itself to be closed, just that we are recording that the concern is part of an overall investigation of the issue. You will be notified of any results/updates.
