Eastlake has a street cleaning machine that comes out once or so a year.

The bike paths in eastlake is appaling. If the mayor would ride the bike paths he would have the dusty street cleaner out of hibernation at least once a week. It is very dangerous to ride on the bike paths in Eastlake. I agree with VC totally!!!!!!! When someone really gets hurt it will be too late! Come on Mayor Ted get your act together and CLEAN the strees and bike paths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY PEOPLE - LISTEN UP !!!! Try this - I've done it in my neighborhood, and it works like a charm. When I get sick of seeing cans and trash all about, I take a nice walk with a "picker-upper" and a bag and do some housekeeping of my own. You would be surprised how many nice people you will meet, you will get a little exercise, and ------ you become part of the solution !!! And remember, some of this trash can be recycled.

Kudos to the city for cleaning the sidewalk up somewhat last year. I will not close this issue because I
believe that this issue will re-develop. Applause to the "poster" PART OF THE SOLUTUION from 6 months ago.

OP here...embarrassing! Especially now with the poor excuse for road repairs. Very dangerous for cyclists with skinny tires. I would at least run that street sweeper in front of City Hall to make it look nice around there. I've seen the sweeper go out several times, but not sure where it went - it has never touched the bike path.

Still bad.
