I recently moved onto Colony Street in Hamden and enjoy taking my newborn for walks in her stroller. I recently took her for a walk down to the new coffee place- Common Grounds. The whole length of dixwell from Colony to the coffee shop was bumpy sidewalks and a lot of glass and litter on the ground. This makes Hamden not only look awful but it makes me feel unsafe. There needs to be an active grounds team looking after our town. I used to live in downtown Milford and you would never experience anything like this.
