Our bins were stolen months ago and we contacted the city but they have not been replaced yet! It is an enormous inconvenience for us,

Same problem for us and our neighbors- they were damaged by a car accident in December- we were told 6 to 8 weeks- like ordering furniture. Does the city maintain no inventory? Very sad. Just treading water here in New Haven.

Give us a call at (203) 946-7700 to check. We do maintain inventories every year but unfortunately toters go missing far too often. We do have some "repurposed toters" that may be available as well. Thanks

We are closing the older "bin" issues. If you need trash/recycling toters, please call Resident Services at Public Works Monday- Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. If you were requesting a market barrel, please enter that request under Public Space category. Thanks
