A large number of homeless individuals ha e taken over the park recently. They now monopolize several of the covered picnic benches, meaning we can't picnic at the park any longer. They also cause numerous messes, leaving cigarettes and alcohol containers around. Also, they sit and stare at the small children at the park. Due to the numerous homeless individuals in the park all day, my family has stopped using the park, as it is no longer safe. I pass by several times a day and never see police officers walking the park or checking out with these subjects.

Update from the Office of Veteran, Social & Homeless Services: issues related to the homeless in our city may be reported to our office - contact information may be found on this page of the StPete.org website:
http://www.stpete.org/community/homelessness/
We work closely with various City departments and local social service providers to address issues faced by our homeless population, and we also work with neighborhood associations to address the concerns they have, as well. Our Police Department has a Street Outreach Team that actively canvasses areas where the activities of the homeless are noticed, and they will continue doing so to ensure the safety of all citizens. Please immediately report any criminal activity or safety concerns to the SPPD directly by calling 727-893-7780 if not an emergency, or 911 if an emergency. Thank you.

We have an office in the area North of the park in the 2100 block of 14th
Thinking they be filed case that sounded just that I give her 60 days is 26 today tomorrow little thing known to notify you not to renew your money right out of them, and she said I had exactly you be okay yeah I would think she thinks is March ransom sees release requires a 60 day written knowns I want to rent doesn't think security from them well and 15th Circle North. The individuals frequenting the park in the daytime sleep in between our buildings after dark. Cleaning up after them is a challenge everyday as the safety concerns of those who want to work in a safe environment after dark.
The parks Department should police the grounds after them everyday and the police should inforce the loitering laws currently in force in the City of St Petersburg.
Cerrado Customer Support (Oficial verificado)
The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you - MAC
