Once the Supervisor troubleshoots the street light, it could take up to a week to fix, and if we need to escalate this to Eversource, it could take longer due to the nature of the work. I apologize as our electrician got pulled away that day, but he went and checked the light this morning. He tested the base and determined it is an underground issue. We will have to reach out to a third party and have them determine the actual cause of the light outage. I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, Eversource was not able to fix the light as they determined that day that the underground wiring is the issue. Our electrician is looking into this to get this moving along. I have called several times and they say this issue is being looked at and will call me back. It has been weeks and still no returned calls with an update to my question about this problem. Can someone please let me know when this might be addressed?

Unfortunately, the issue you are concerned about does not have an easy or quick fix due to the underground wiring. Though the absence of overhead utilities benefits the aesthetics of your street, it unfortunately makes maintenance work more difficult, costly, and time consuming.
