A very long backup on Northbound Washington trying to get through the Central Ave. intersection. Photo taken yesterday March 1st. What are all these traffic cones doing blocking the left turn lane? Some driver tried to turn left and couldn't do so because of the dozens of cars coming through on Southbound Washington. He held up the whole line of 30 cars behind him trying to get through the intersection. It took me 10 minutes and 3 light changes just to get to where I took the photo.

Why are the traffic cones blocking the left turn lane?
Why are there no signs saying whether left turns are permitted or not?

There is no reason to have these cones blocking the left turn lane, causing a massive traffic congestion. Please have them removed. Let people turn left on Central because this is one of the very few places anymore that one can do that. I wanted to turn left and didn't because it would have blocked the 30 cars behind me on Washington. Yes, this is yet another nightmare courtesy of the ART fiasco.
