The dumpster has been checked by ISD inspector who attests is not overflowing. This isn't a violation.

Every time I comment on this rotten dumpster, and I have picture proof that it is overflowing, someone comes, takes a couple things out and then the city says well it's not full.
No, there needs to be full oversight and accountability. Not laziness on city officials saying oh the mattress was removed so now it's not overflowing. This is rubbish and the city knows it.
They're making money off the permit so they don't care how it affects our daily lives.

You are obviously frustrated. But, the City can only enforce its Ordinances. It cannot make up violations. In this case, if the dumpster is not overflowing, no violation exists. I personally examined the dumpster early morning on Thurs. Mar. 23. It was certainly occupied by debris, but it was not overflowing and did not constitute a Code violation. I did ask ISD to encourage the developer to remove the dumpster from the street as quickly as possible. I understand it should be removed within 2 weeks when this phase of the reconstruction is complete. But, he may be entitled to another dumpster permit in future phases of the job that require demolition.
