There are curbs with dirt and little trees growing where the turning lane should be. Cars stop (with or without using their turn signal) in the left lane and back up traffic when making left turns. This causes drivers to switch the right lane by cutting in front of moving traffic. Sometimes they block the lane short of the intersection for no reason when they could easily fit between the planters in line with where the turning lane should be.
