This past week it took 15 minutes to take the turn onto Phoenixville Pike at 7:45 AM. Then again starting from 4:00-6:30 PM! This is crazy. People are cutting through the church which makes for bigger traffic tie-ups! Would love it if the West Goshen Township would consider a light to help with the flow of traffic.
Just what we need is more damn red lights... Really? If you use these roads to go around the main roads (100, 202, etc.) and traffic, maybe you should just stick to the main roads. More red lights means more traffic. Exton is bad enough. Soon they'll be sticking red lights in developments.
I live 100 yards from this intersection and have never seen it take 15 minutes to make a turn. You must have gotten stuck behind someone afraid of turning into traffic. You know, someone that can't turn unless absolutely positively no one is within 500 yards. It would also help if people would use their turn signals. You know, the lever on the left side of the steering column? And last but not least, the biggest problem with this area is the speed at which vehicles travel on P'ville Pike. I wish the police would not sit on the overpass on holiday weekends clocking vehicles below on the Rt 100 to 202 bypass and instead start clocking vehicles on P'ville Pike during rush hour. Cha-ching Cha-ching they would make a killing in tickets.
I do not agree! - this intersection does not need a light. It gets backed up during both rush hours, and THAT'S IT! Why would you want a light there when it is absolutely not needed any other time of the day? I work 1/2 mile from here, and make a left turn from this intersection MULTIPLE times a day while visiting clients and returning from lunch. There usually isn't even another car on the road! If you know it's going to be bad at rush hour - go around like I do. You know you will save time by finder another road, and then you won't have to inconvenience the rest of us with another traffic light.
