This corner with a traffic light is now handling far more traffic than it can safely control. Traffic coming east on New Street is backed up past the New Street entrance to the YMCA wich also adds to the congestion. There is no left turn lane for the east bound traffic from New Street causing traffic to build up behind a vehicle turning north on to NY route 50. There needs to be a left turn lane added to relieve the traffic congestion at this intersection.
