Driving west on 150, you will notice the right lane ends just before Ervin Rd. only to open up 40' later to a right turning lane as well as a FULL shoulder lane, causing backup all the way to the interstate and usually all the way back from across the interstate. I think short of continuing the right lane all the way to Perth Rd. in Doolie (west of Mooresville), the lane should be at least open to Ervin Rd. and signs should be posted saying right lane ends and/or right lane must turn right ahead. I emailed the DOT regarding this matter and received NO response. Not only is this very inconvenient on a daily basis, it is truly a safety issue that continues to go ignored.
