I wouldn't consider this job complete! The snow was cleared in front of the school and then the plow turned around at the corner of Glencrest and stopped. Merton all the way to King Edward is still covered in snow on the sidewalks and the streets. When is this going to be fixed?

Let's keep this civilized.

Clearly the city made a mistake and forgot several streets. Clearly something has changed from snow clearing operations last winter we didn't have these issues before.

No mud slinging, please. All we're looking for is acknowledgement and resolution.

From Wavell to Edgemore and up to Guelph, snow removal on both sides of the streets were not done. It happens.

This morning I met the CSL employee on the sidewalk tractor doing his best.

Please note. By law, crews are not allowed to work more than 16 hours per day, without an eight hour rest. So for day1, the crew did 16 hours and now after a rest, they are back to continue. Thank You CSL crew.

There needs to be alignment on what the issue here is: I'm not questioning the effort of the city or workers whatsoever. There are many streets of been cleared along with their sidewalks and they look fantastic.

The issue here is that clearly a street has been forgotten, a major one at that. Again, all I'm looking for is resolution. And obviously the efforts of all our city workers are very much appreciated.

Thank you for your inquiry. As the City website states, it may take up to five days to clear and remove the snow from all streets following a major snow storm with accumulations of more than 20cm. Please rest assured that we have been in 24hr/ day operations mode since Tuesday.

As the city website indicates Merton (mentioned by name) is supposed to be one of the first streets cleared due to being a main Street, and a school. It was forgotten while other secondary, third streets were cleared of snow. I am sure that operations have been active since Tuesday evening, but Merton Ave remains to be fully cleared. Part of it was cleared this morning.
