Description

The intersection of CR39 and fisher road is used as a cut through for people during rush hour. I have watched hundreds of people not even brake at this intersection.Additionally, the car dealerships use this area to test drive cars which they normally use CR39 as a test track to see how fast the car can go. This stop sign intersection NEEDS to have a raised intersection/speed hump system as I waiting for someone to really get hurt as I live a couple hundred feet from this location

It is a very busy intersection during the afternoon rush hour and can become dangerous. Not nearly as dangerous as the intersection of CR 39 and Belcher during that same time of day. And a great deal of that traffic is caused by the car dealerships who really don't seem to care one bit about safety or their neighbors. Some sort of traffic control mechanism would be greatly appreciated by those of us that live nearby.

CR39 and fisher rd handle much more traffic than the county realizes. Cut throughs make CR39 and fisher as well as fisher and Curlew. The residents around these roads really need the county to step up, do some studies on these intersections and roads, and come up with some solutions.

Comments about Fisher and CR 39 are duly noted. Furthermore the intersection of Fisher and Curlew is HORRENDOUS and becoming more dangerous every day! One block in, at Fisher and Casa Vista, is a school bus stop as well. Traffic crosses Curlew before getting to CR39. Please investigate traffic control mechanisms for both Fisher Road crossings.

A directed patrol has been requested to enforce the STOP condition at Fisher Road and CR 39. Curlew Road is a STATE Road - so this will be transferred to the FDOT for their action at Curlew Road and Fisher Road.
