THE MEN WHO LIVE THERE ARE CONSTRUCTION PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WHO ARE HANDY MEN. THEY PARK THEIR VANS OFF CITY STREETS IN FRONT OF THERE RESIDENCE.

NO WARREN. THEY ARE TRANSFERRING SCRAP DAY AND NIGHT. There have been videos made of this and complaints for 4 years from neighbors. This is a residential area. Unsightly scrap, noise, dust, debris. They have to transfer this stuff properly, not use our neighborhood for junk deposits.

The zoning dept frequently does not respond well to problems they should be able to fix. This is not a commercial industrial zone. The former occupants of this house maintained a residence.

I believe they are operating a construction business out of this residence. I can get the license plates of the vehicles. If they are registered to a commercial business, then they have no business being stored in a residential community. Those trucks idle every morning, filling the air with noxious fumes.

What I’m hearing is that Zoning doesn’t have “resources” to investigate this illegal business activity, but that doesn’t answer the question of whose responsibility it is to investigate this. Saying “this is not my job” is different than saying “I can’t do my job.” So, whose responsibility it is to investigate illegal business activity? Should I file a police report?
