I wrote a comment earlier on the temporary fix on 135, but it didn't seem to be saved. The repair has helped, but not mitigated the terrible impact and loud bangs of certain trucks and trailers as they go over depressions at and near Parker Court. There are still loud bangs due to what appear to be minimal depressions in the road caused by work done by EverSource. It is my most sincere desire that you can work with EverSource to resolve this issue as it is has been over a year that I've been pursuing a permanent fix to this noise. I want to thank the Town for addressing the situation even temporarily and hope that you can work collaboratively with EverSource to resolved this issue SOON!

I am so discouraged. I think it is a good thing that Eversource has replaced aging gas pipes. The smell of gas was quite strong and disconcerting. However, they have dug up this section of road at least 3x if not 4 just this summer, and almost as many time last summer. I have been told that when they are through digging up the road, it will be repaved, but it has been a long time, well over a year now that every time a large truck or any vehicle with a trailer goes by there are crashes and bangs, all hours of the day and night. This last digging up was 4 days long and went past midnight one night. The windows, their sills and my front porch are covered with dirt from this last excavation and tamping down of earth following it. I have to say, it has been most unpleasant and I can't wait till they are done and the road properly paved!

The large patch put in place in front of 62 W Central St has gone a long way to eliminating the horrible pounding noise of large trucks and trailers going by, especially at night when they tend to go at a faster speed. However, there is a pot hole caused by the depression of a sewer cover in front of 60 W Central that causes similar noise, albeit not quite as loud. Now if that could be remedied, it might actually go back to the routine road noise. Thanks.

The hole in front of 60 W Central has only gotten deeper and trucks continually dip into it creating load bangs, especially at night when they are traveling much too fast on W. Central St. Can you please check out this problem? It has been a long standing issue. Thanks.
