Description
Construction vehicles (18 wheelers, dump trucks etc) are using Cross St as the main access to the construction site instead of driving down university & turning on Nagle. This is directly through he Ucentre residential area and busy area for students crossing the street to go to class.
It is extremely loud & disruptive to residents. IT IS CURRENTLY 2:53 am on a weekend and there have been at least 10 concrete trucks drive by my apartment.
Construction crews need to either use the Nagle street entrance or not work at 3 in the morning on a weekend. It is extremely loud and annoying!

There was a very large (15+hours) concrete pour for the project at 711 University this weekend. They had an approved Noise Ordinance Exemption that allowed them to begin at 1AM on Saturday. They have approval to start early on the next 4 Saturdays as well. We don’t have the ability to prevent them from using certain streets. Unfortunately, there will most likely be disruptions over the next several weekends.
