I agree this is a disaster. You can use goggle earth to show what the roads and sidewalks looked like before this project happened. I encourage you and all your neighbors to call PG&E 1-800-743-2683 and demand to know what they going to do about the damage also call PWD Bureau of Engineering and Construction 238-3651 ask where there inspectors are at and what they are doing about it. I will call also I live on Canon Ave.

I will do! I'm amazed at the lack of presence of PG & E, and City, inspectors on this project. They have moved my gas meter to "a location PG&E wants", according to the contractor - no communication whatsoever from PG&E before and during this project - they have turned their contractor loose, only communications have been directly with the contractor. An astounding lack of concern and care for their customers by PG&E. And the City needs a presence, needs to advocate for repair to their infrastructure - I'm happy to raise these issues, but there is City staff that is paid to do this and they should also be concerned/involved - they may be, but considering their history on previous City projects in the area (sewers), I'm dubious..

PG&E 800-743-5000 Don't call the number left by David C., that's a promotional, marketing 800 number.

I am sorry about giving our the wrong number there number is 800-743-5000. PG&E also gives out the number to the Calif Public Utility Comm to file complaints 1-800-649-7570.

The City of Oakland fixed this issue on 03/28/2017, service request #721480.

So how was this fixed??? PWD is responsible for overseeing these contractors work along with PG&E engineers and inspectors. So in 7 hours you performed a miracle???
