The alley between 37th and 38th Ave, between Locust St and Oak St is in desperate need of repaving. This has been reported by multiple people for over two years now with nothing done. They came last year to 'blade the alley' which did nothing. Instead they reconstructed two alleys directly next to us between 35th and 37th which were in better shape than ours. They were supposed to be back to rebuild ours but never did. There are very few pieces of the original pavement left and in turn we are left with a dirt and dust ridden path filled with weeds and potholes. This needs to be remedied immediately, before the rains start. The dirt and rocks runoff into the gutters and clog them and the drains, which causes flooding. I look directly across Locust street everyday to our neighbors beautifully paved and well draining alley and wonder how it is that we pay the same taxes and yet our alley is in complete shambles? Please be responsible St. Pete and fix this ongoing issue for us once and for all! I look forward to seeing you out here soon.
