Doesn't the City of Clifton have a noise ordinance? Every Wednesday, the landscapers that cut the lawns at the Richfield Village Complex begin cutting and trimming lawn at 7AM? This is every single Wednesday at the same time.

I have been a resident in the City Of Clifton for 18 years. The first couple years were truly the best years to live in Clifton. I reside on 76 Lake Avenue. I am surrounded by lazy, uneducated, non-working people, who have no respect! There has been a constant problem with loud music on Fridays and Saturdays. For some odd reason or another, some of the Clifton Police have take a liking to many of the tenants in violation of the city ordinance. I am having a hard time understanding why certain officers are siding up with tenants who re bringing down the quality of life in Clifton. Many of the officers don't even reside in Clifton and I think they have the attitude that they could care less about what happens in Clifton. Many years ago, most of the officers resided in Clifton and had a undying passion about upholding a certain standard in the municipality of Clifton. It is sad how things are changing! I know it seems like an undying battle for just, but I say to the good people of Clifton don't hesitate about calling the police. And don't be discouraged by some the police officers smog attitudes. There are many knowledgeable, no-nonsense officers, who are willing to uphold the law. The few make it very desirable to go to the legislators and complain of mandating the all police officers are college educated. This will ensure the sense of all officers using common sense and being well-rounded. I question some of the leadership skills on the force, especially when some officers tell violating citizens, " I am on your side. I am sick of responding to noise complaint calls." Well, I say...It's high time to get another gig because the calls will be made.
