I would like for the city to install curbs on Swann St between 5th Ave and 6 St. This is the only street on the entire northside that does not have curbs. Residents and visitors on and to this street are parking in front yards, blocking sidewalks and making the neighborhood look really bad. I have e-mailed the city once before but I did not receive a response. The city installed curbs on Swann St. between 4th St. and 5th Ave. a few years ago but stopped at that point. We need you to inquire on our behalf.
Thank You

It has been ten months since this request was made on behalf of the tax paying residents of Swann Street, between 5th Avenue and N. Sixth Street. We have not had a response from any one in City government regarding this issue. It appears that the City of Wilmington do not care about the tax paying residents who reside on this one block. Yet, other, more affluent sections are getting their streets paved and other renovations.
We would appreciate any assistance in this matter that we can get. This street really is an eye-sore in the neighborhood and for the city as a whole. The new developement of Taylor Homes is being built one block down, yet we can't get anything done on our street.

only has it not been resolved but the city has not even had the decency to address it. I guess the tax paying citizens on Swann St. don,t matter. My mother has been living there for since 1958, and she is 91 years old
and has never been delinquent in paying her taxes. She deserves the same consideration as the residents in Pine Valley and Landfall.
