Here is that same trash can (Scout Park) 4 days later, on April 8. Still overflowing

Then here is the same Scout Park trash can today, April 12. So more than a week and still overflowing.

April 14. Nice note that somebody put on it, though of course that assumes that the trash collectors might be stopping by without actually emptying it...

Here is a photo taken today. The sign is getting worn out, and the trash keeps being added. The longer this sits unemptied, the worse this is going to get, people!

This was reported separately and was apparently addressed. But why was this issue never handled ? It was assigned to pw and then it just got ignored as the problem grew and grew.

Thanks for reporting this. I'm sorry - this is a specifically tricky location, and I didn't even understand the location until you said Scout Park.

Parks Maintenance is normally responsible for emptying this can, I believe. The best way to get it emptied is to address the Parks Dept in the future, or to name the location as Scout Park, so I can redirect.

Public Works cannot help with litter can maintenance on private property (South Shore Center), nor on Parks property. But we would be happy to help get someone out there! Thanks for clarifying.
