Description
Trash cans on city Park property, and at South Shore Center, need to be picked up more frequently. Otherwise they end up overflowing, and I can imagine that it's very difficult for staff to empty them when they are this fall. Perhaps the rounds should be doubled in frequency. I'm sure that the time saved in having to deal with overflowing trash cans will more than make up for the time just to pick up the trash more frequently.

Thanks for reporting this. I'm sorry - this is a specifically tricky location, and I didn't even understand the location until you said Scout Park.
Parks Maintenance is normally responsible for emptying this can, I believe. The best way to get it emptied is to address the Parks Dept in the future, or to name the location as Scout Park, so I can redirect.
Public Works cannot help with litter can maintenance on private property (South Shore Center), nor on Parks property. But we would be happy to help get someone out there! Thanks for clarifying.
Again, apologies.
