This street has been inspected, there is no danger in street collapsing. No work warranted.

My case was closed because after the street was inspected, it was determined the street was NOT in danger of collapsing and no further repairs were warranted.
This case is NOT resolved!!! Whomever inspected the street had a road crew apply asphalt on a small portion in the road. If no repairs were warranted, why do anything at all??!!!
The street is collapsing and there are cracks across the entire street. When will it become an issue??!! When it actually collapses and a car and/or a person fall in the hole??!!
It's my understanding that the city developed this app to be Proactive instead of Reactive.

The street is collapsing in there several cracks across the street, extending from sidewalk to sidewalk! I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before it becomes and Extremely large and deep sink hole. When will it become an issue??!! When it actually collapses and a car and/or a person fall in??!!!

This is what the road crew did to the street and said the issue was resolved.
This is a just like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound.
UNACCEPTABLE!

The City of Detroit employees have CLOSED this service request. The reported pothole was repaired by City employees. Our goal is to reduce inconveniences and promote safe travels within the City of Detroit.
