It would help slow traffic. The posted speed there is only 25. Way to slow for that area. If they did do it the cop that spends most of his days in that area ticketing people going to work wont have much to do.

I was making a left onto Moyer from 8th, doing the speed limit. A large pickup truck decided it was just his turn to pull out from Moyer onto 8th, cutting in front of me. I honked the horn, so he stops dead in the intersection, blocking both lanes of traffic to roll down his window and yell that it was his turn. Really? He had a stop sign, the rest of us didn't, so I guess it was "his turn" to stop and block both lanes of traffic unnecessarily. I get the frustration of waiting a long time to pull out into traffic, but we all deal with it somewhere. Most don't deal with it so well at this intersection.

Part of the problem is people do not stop at the stop sign at 8th and Cannon. If people would stop at the stop sign, it would create gaps in the traffic flow that would allow people to exit from Moyer road. I have used this intersection faitly often and I never saw anyone run the stop sign on Moyer Road. I have seen people taking some unnecessary risks trying to pull out onto 8th.

If it's so frustrating to turn left from Moyer Road on 8th Street, why do people continue to do it and complain about it? Find a different route if it's that bad!

Its because google their phone navigator keeps telling them to go this way. Rather than they look around and find thier own way.
