I blew 2 tires, and called the town, and they said these roads are state roads. I called PENNDOT, and they said they would fix the pot holes, and send me a form to fill out to get reimbursed for the new tires, the tow, and the alignment.
I am still waiting and that was over a month ago.
I think it is a lost cause.
I have it on my list of things to do to call PENNDOT and see why I have not at least gotten the claim form.
I have a feeling they get lots of these calls and they just ignore them.
In theory, they are supposed to pay for damages to the vehicle from the pot holes, but I do not know anyone who ever has gotten paid, or even been able to file a claim.
These roads do need to be repaved and widened and the shoulders, in some places, there is a huge drop off where the water flows and it has to be a good 4 foot drop off.
If you hit one of those, you will flip your car right into someones house.
It is very dangerous, even at 10 MPH.
The road is too narrow in many spots.
If you drive this road, you know these spots. They are white knuckle every time.

I e-mailed the town highway dept and they gave me the number for PennDot. I spoke to a woman, but did not write down her name. 215-345-6060 this is the number I called at PennDot
Let me know how you make out.
Thanks
Bill
