I completely agree. Many drivers are unsafe and run the stop signs, which is dangerous in general, but especially given that it is at the intersection with both an elementary school and field for little league and t-ball.

I also agree. I would also suggest that a traffic circle be constructed at that intersection to enable cars to easily make a U-turn. Many cars make a U-turn on Patton Street, which is quite dangerous because cars coming northwest on Patton from under the freeway can't see U-turning cars until they are almost on top of them.

Agree this intersection needs to be addressed. The City and school district should look into Safe Routes to School funding.

The intersection is at the bottom of a hill and a common route to/from the freeway, so drivers frequently run the stop signs at this intersection. With young children needing to cross to go to their elementary school or little league games, it is important that pedestrian safety be improved!

I often need to cross this intersection with a stroller and never feel safe doing so - I end up going a block the other way, then backtracking, just to cross. Being near a school this surprises me and a crosswalk would be valuable. Thank you!
