I agree. Why is Ashwood so different than the rest of town? I may need to lead a clean-up effort on this street. There is trash everywhere.

This issue is not resolved. The sofa and washing machine (visible from the street and has been in the back of the house over 6 months!) is still there. Who is in charge here? This is a violation of code and the Landlord should take care of it. There is no equity for East Summit. Unbelievable that the city is letting this side of town go so far down in terms of basic amenities and government services.

Today is April 27th. I informed Summit city of the couch and washing machine in the back of 68 Ashwood avenue by phone in January. I have pictures. You can see this waste/trash from Ashwood Avenue. It is disgraceful that the slumlord who owns the property is able to continually violate city ordinances. I am having my daughter's bridal shower at my home. Despite my best efforts, I will be embarrassed and ashamed to have people at my home, given the boarding house slum across the street where couches, washing machines, and other debris, have me feeling like I live in a neighborhood which has been severely neglected by city authorities. This, despite the fact that my tax rate is the same as everyone else who lives in Summit. Where is the fairness here?
