I too live nest to the playground swings. There is at least 1 very squeaky swing. It is bad enough during the day, but then during evening hours some older kids swing on it constantly. It is an irritant.

Thank you for moving this request along. Yesterday, the playground was full of children all day long and the noise was constant and totally unbearable to the point that I had to leave my house to get away from it. I would suggest that the problem swing be removed until the squeak is eliminated. Much thanks, Roberta Chadis.

I give the City of Salem permission to eliminate this problem by using any amount of the substantial real estate tax monies I have provided these past 16 years. Just please fix this "fixable" annoyance.

The squeaky swing is loud enough to hear through my closed windows across the common to Washington Square North. It would be much appreciated to have this repaired, or the swing removed until repair is possible. Now that summer approaches more children are using the play ground and the squeak is constant. Would appreciate repair so I can enjoy spring/summer with windows open.
