The Town replaced the drainage outlet and made repairs to the slope in 2000. You can help the situation by avoiding the dumping of yard waste onto the slope so it can establish itself with plant growth and root systems.

True, the area of the drainage outlet does look like it was repaired 17+years ago. That is a swath of town property between me and my neighbor's. Its farthest edge (with its no dumping signs that everyone ignores) extends a good 15 feet at least beyond the edge of my backyard. I've tramped around back there and, comparing the two areas, it looks like no repairs have been done to my portion of the ravine wall. I do avoid dumping yard waste back there per previous instructions from the town, but it still looks to be a losing battle.
