I just walked by this place. Nothing seems to have been done. There were three or four people sitting on the ground there, some of them clearly drunk. One man was screaming at the top of his lungs at the others. Broken glass around the sidewalks. All fo this in broad daylight. I guess you could tell people to walk on the other side of the street to avoid this mess. But there is no other side of the street. The building project across 4th Street has taken away all the sidewalks. With all the cops going by all day long no one bothers to stop and clean this place up? There are panhandlers and people passed out on the streets downtown and no one does anything about it. Who do you expect to live in these ugly luxury towers the city is allowing to be erected? Why would anyone move downtown if they have to step over people to get into the bank or go to Publix?
Nothing seems to have been done here about the homeless camping out or the trash. A warning was given to the building owners before but this type of negligence to deal with littering is constant and illegal, right?
