Description
The city put up a new no left turn sign right before the Ecke school carpool lane, going south in Vulcan. This is directly adjacent to our home street Halcyon Road. Does this sign refer to us getting into our driveway which is Halcyon Road? Halcyon road is our private road and if this applies to us we will not be able to get into our driveway without going completely out of the way, and at rush hour could take 10 minutes to turn into our street. Can someone clarify if this applies to A left from Vulcan into Halcyon Road. If it does this is not right and a complete infringement of access to our home. Thank you.

This sign is placed so that it applies only to left turns into the new drop off lane in front of the school. Rest assured left turns on to Halcyon Rd are still perfectly legal and we would have no reason to restrict this. (The city would not restrict turns on to a residential street without first reaching out to the residents.) Thank you.
