Description
I live in the area called Longfellow. We've lived here, homeowners, for 12 years. Our easiest passage ways to temescal, which we like to frequent on foot, are the underpasses on 42nd and 45th streets. I'm sure you are aware of the trash buildup, needles, human excrement, and as of late encampments that constantly encroach on the safety and friendliness of this area for mine and other families.
Can you please tell me how I can get involved in maintaining a consistent cleanup of these city streets. What can be done to ensure safe and pleasant passage that we as taxpayers should expect?
Thank you,
Catherine
Ps: that's a picture of my son having to go on the street to avoid dogs human excrement and trash on the sidewalk do to the encampments.
