This house with the tarp roof is an eyesore to the community, not to mention it is probably unsafe and a health hazard. It has been this way for several years, when is someone going to do something?

All of our property values drop because of these homes.

Now it is really getting bad. How high can the grass grow at 2135 Sunnyside ave.? Stay tuned folks.

At least the township is starting to clean up the house and property at Sanatoga Rd. and Swamp Pike. Hopefully they will get to the other delapidated houses in the area.

My neighsbors and myself work so hard to maintain our property. I am so angry that the township does nothing about the high grass. Also the tarped roof is an eyesore that brings our value down. I know there are economic issues involved here, but the empty house with the high grass is something the township ( by enforceing the codes) can control. Last year we cut the grass and were told it was the banks job. See how good of a job they do?

The house with high grass looks abandoned. Does anybody if it has been forclosed on? If so, the bank is responsible.

the high grass house is a foreclosure. The bank does nothing. Further more I have heard that the house is not on the market do to major damage.

Well, the one house is set to sell at Sheriffs Sale soon so hopefully that will be resolved but the other one is awful!! I really think this should be condemned. I cannot beleive it really is habitable.....Come on Lower Pottsgrove, do something about this. I feel really bad for the neigbors whose homes are nicely kept.

I feel bad for that guy on the corner too...he's done alot to fix up his property and has these 2 houses right next to/across the street from him. I've actually thought about taking my mower up there and doing that yard myself, but it's way too high for me to cut at this point.

I know our Township superviors are SOOO overwhelmed with wiping each others ****...but PLEASE - fix this problem!! If this person lived near YOUR home...this would have already been taken care of! Who does this person PAY on the township board to keep his house in such disrepair YEAR after YEAR?? "MAN" up Lower Pottsgrove and stop this fool from lowering our property values and making us look like we live in the "hood"!!!

There is actually another empty house along Sunnyside. I suppose they were renters. I feel bad for the people along that road take the time to keep their houses looking nice year round. It almost does not matter what you report-nothing is getting done on the street. The one guy started his roof, but it seems exposed and that can't be good for the work he did...

Still no resolution regarding the Dilapidated houses. This is becoming skid row. I feel bad for the homeowners who keep their houses tip-top. There is now another house that was foreclosed on and now empty.

The icon's actually a little too far up Sunnyside -- the worst house by far is back up the road towards the Sunoco at 2130 Sunnyside. WTH is the problem there -- can't imagine it's not full of rats and other vermin.

Regarding the 'roofless' house, people have offered monies to the resident to pay for materials and others ahve offered to do the work for him - the home owner has declined: personal pride perhaps. Each year he pays an insignifigant fine to the township.

Regarding the 'long-grass' house across the street from it, it was supposed to go to sherrif's sale over the summer, not sure what happened - there were utility vans on the property when I drove past this morning - I can only keep my fingers crossed...

That property is still a mess. The only reason that I can think of is that somebody who works for the township is related to this guy. Why else let that property rot for over six years now.
