The City has been in contact with the owner. We will be setting up a meeting with the owner to discuss steps to resolve this issue. Will post updates after the meeting.

The City met with the homeowner back on July 26th. We came to an agreement that the deadline for the junk/blight to be removed from the property is Wednesday August 16th. The City will stop out there on that day to see if the deadline has been met. Will post updates soon.

The owner contacted the City back on August 16th stating that his brother has not removed anything from his property. I recommended him to contact the Police Department regarding his options on removing his brothers belongings from his property. I have not heard back so I am sending him a new letter with 14 days to get everything cleaned up. Check back for more updates.

The property owner was cited and fined a couple of weeks back due to inaction on this. He has since begun the process of loading the junk onto trailers and hauling it off of the property. I visited the property on Monday and observed a load getting ready to haul away. I'll continue to monitor the situation.
