Description
Back yard has weeds and bamboo that are over 4 feet. Nothing has been done despite three attempts by HOA to contact owner. Home has a window open and appears to be abandoned. Window has been open despite rain for more than one month with no sign of any people. Front yard was bad but has been mowed (we think the HOA) Rats reported two homes away and we believe the yard is infested. Yard visible to neighbors in back. Hazardous to surrounding areas. Premises need to be maintained.

The Code violations at the property are being addressed. In the complaint you state bamboo, bamboo is a cultivated plant and not subject to the Code when growing in a yard. The Code for height of yards is 12 inches. HOA's typically have more restrictive covenants and allowances to go on properties and abate violations. The City does not have that option.
