City of Folsom Fire Prevention assigned this issue to City of Folsom Park Maintenance Division

Thank you for your inquiry about weed abatement. Because of the multiple areas that need weed abatement in the City (120 acres over 60 locations) our Fire Department has ranked all the areas by their fire threat potential so an order of completion could be created. If you check out the Folsom Parks and Recreation weed abatement tab on the City website (City of Folsom web site – City Hall – Departments – Parks and Recreation – How do I – weed abatement) you’ll see the entire list and where your area is listed. Once the weed abatement program starts (which will be May 8th this year) by Tuesday of each week we’ll be updating the list so everyone can see our progress.
