Description
At the intersection of Sunrise and Glendale, there's an apartment complex parking lot where cars always dart out. The stop sign here says "All Way" yet it doesn't appear that the people exiting the parking lot have a stop sign. Please address this ASAP, a guy came inches from crashing into me the other day because of this.

The city may have unknowingly created a dangerous situation at that intersection when they recently installed two stop signs at the Glendale Ave and Sunrise Tr intersection. Before installation of these two stop signs, vehicles coming out of both the private condo property and Sunrise Terrace had to stop and look both ways before turning into the Glendale Ave. After the installation of the two extra stop signs, the city included "all way" signage in all 3 stop signs, and, unable to place a stop sign in the private property, is enabling vehicles coming out of this condo to essentially have the right of way at all times; so an unsuspicious vehicle reading the "all way" Stop waiting to turn will unknowingly assume that any vehicle leaving the condo area will stop, when this is now rarely the case. I don't technically blame the vehicles darting out of condo since the entire intersection must stop, except them.
If you cannot place a stop sign in the private property, you should either remove the signs (since they are creating a more dangerous situation), or at minimum remove the deceiving "all way" portion of the sign.
I'm actually a bit confused as to why they chose to had extra stop signs there; if I was to use this rationale, I would have prioritized the primrose/glendale ave intersection just 200ft down the road; the private properties in that intersection have tall bushes that cars turning out of primrose into glendale ave basically have to stick the nose of their cars almost halfway into glendale in order to be able to check for cross traffic. this intersection also has a private condo property entry at the intersection, so same exact situation as sunrise/glendale ave, expect more hidden.

Stop sign was not placed along the driveway because it is outside of City ROW. Condo complex is responsible to install stop sign with all-way plaque with 7’ clearance between bottom of the sign and ground. In order to enforce this, you can bring zoning deportment to discussion.
However, based on past experience please install the stop sign with the plaque and inform the condo in writing (please use certified mail and send me proof of letter acceptance and letter) that they are responsible for upkeep of the sign from this point forward.
