Description

As a grandparent who came out last year for Walter Pop Smith baseball season to watch my grandson play little league baseball, I was appalled at the conditions of the bleachers and driveway ( too steep and corroded) which were in poor shape. Splinters all the time when you sit. I returned this year to see the same sad condition of the bleachers( I do not want to mention how old and sad the concession stand is, kudos to the people who do a great job trying to feed us). I am asking that the Dixwell/Newhallville area receive the same love and attention that other neighborhoods get for their community/ outdoor family space. There are many family's who support their kids. I also hope the Concession stand can be updated. These small amenities could make a big difference to us !
