Very happy to see someone keeping CCTA and the City honest. There is no reason taxpayers should be paying for this. Pay the meter like the rest of us. And parking in no parking zones: tow them, like the rest of us, then have the towing fee come out of CCTA's budget, which will get someone's attention and positively affect change.

Ok. When this was reported the other day, it was acknowledged by Bill Ward (as usual). It was the sent on to jking who I am guessing has something to do with parking. No response other than the area would be checked. Then the message from Chapin Spencer that the situation would be addressed.

Here we are today, cars and busses taking up spaces that could earn the city revenue. The taxpayers are taking the hit and guess who acknowledges the report almost immediately? Yup, Bill Ward.

Mr. Mayor, please make Bill Ward the director of all city departments since he is the most accessible of all of your management team!

Those vehicles are gone.

We are working on a clarified policy. We have followed up multiple times with GMT and BPD Parking Enforcement. Parking Enforcement is in the midst of helping DPW with Clean Sweep. Please know we are working on this and will have a clarified policy once we are able to work through this with other departments and agencies.

Excellent. Pay the meter just like all other taxpayers.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but issuing a ticket and being able to enforce payment of same are two different propositions. Let's hope that the the commissioners of GMT see the wisdom in each member municipality being able to enforce its ordinances.
