Concord Road from the intersection of Route 20 to the intersection of Stow was left a mess upon completion of the work last year! I reported safety hazard to police when water main cover was dislodged and lying in the street. Further deterioration near the sewer grate and adjacent to the Golf Course is quite apparent. Lets get this section repaired properly!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please know that the current condition of the roadway is by no means the final product. This is a two part project. The first part was last summer when we replaced the underlying infrastructure in the area of Concord Road that you are talking about. We replaced a deteriorating sewer line and mad some drainage repairs. This year, as the second part, we will completely replace the roadway surface from Route 20 to Highgate Road. It is part of a multi-road paving program and will be completed this summer.

I have seen surveyors on route 20 .
Will route 20 be worked on from Sudbury line to Route 85?

The State has plans to reconstruct Route 20 from Peters Avenue to the Sudbury town line. We don't have their timetable, but the surveyors you have seen may well be part of laying that groundwork.
