Thanks for the post. There are a number of issues here; Our department could address any parking of the motorcycles on the actual sidewalk/public right of way. As the alleyway is private property I've recategorized this to a private property issue. As far as the motorcycles actually mounting the sidewalk to get to the alley or the noise complaint element, these aspects would fall under the purview of the New Haven Police. If there is any active parking of motorcycles on the actual sidewalk please call us as it's occurring and we will dispatch parking enforcement personnel to issue parking tickets. The motorcycle is still there. And still uses this alley it red. And parked there right now.

This is private property. I'm not sure why it is any business of anyone besides the resident. Seems like a nosey neighbor issue to me. There are also multiple motorcycles in this neighborhood as well as a lot of traffic should we complain about the street traffic as well?? Residents at 4-6 Clifton Street are illegally dumping washing machine water into the Quinnipiac River on a daily basis.

New Haven Resident, if you lived here and this was going on all night, you would understand. It is not legal to drive on the sidewalk, period. Hope they fix your wash water issue.
