I could polish my nails every morning during my (wide open) wait to turn from N Groesbeck onto W Masonic. My toes could match following my afternoon (wide open) wait to turn from S Groesbeck onto E Masonic. Most people turn anyway thinking "This must be a blinking ligh, right?". Maybe that is the answer: More revenue for the city. Makes sense. Fraser: CUT School of Choice to save money. Send all of the Roseville, Clintondale, and Eastpointe tax payers children to the districts to whom they contribute. My whole problem would be solved because instead of driving across town to my daughters private school I could walk her to the school I help pay for right here in my Fraser neighborhood, where I pay taxes.

how exactly would cutting school of choice save money? do you know how our schools get their funding? per student enrolled so more students means more $ and fraser can be selective on who they allow in from outside district. so why don't your kids go to fraser if you live here?

I have no faith that this will get resolved any time soon, so this is what I do. Upon arriving at the intersection, I scour the area for police. If I don't see any, I make the left turn onto Masonic as required ignoring the red light. It's much safer than sitting there waiting to be hit by dome ditz sending a text message. We can not allow government to control us to the point where our lives are being jeopardized... so just do what you have to do.
