*Prayer Request* This mission has touched many lives over the the past 15 years~ Just talking, listening and witnessing with the people there has been a blessing in my life! Danni and I have brought our children here where they help in the kitchen, filling up ice cups, pouring tea and even eating dinner right beside these homeless men and women~ this place has been thier first introduction to hands on missions.3:16 has been playing there for 6+ years, this is a mission that is near and dear to thier hearts.please Pray and pass this on.

I have just started being involved in this ministry and bringing my teenage daughter as well as getting other youth involved in this ministry. It has made a huge impact in my life and my daughter's life. How blessed we are. What if you were homeless and were dependent for this kind of help because you knew you would be loved here like no where else.

These folks need community support. I think is our civic responsibility to help. They need a new home to continue the work God has guided them to do. This could be you, your neighbor, family member or I. The need is there and they need out help. Please take action.

Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination ,.... If this is the truth we should work as team to find a solution to this maybe a gate that can stay locked when the mission is not open...

This mission has had a great impact on my life, since getting involved with the mission and other churches to help in ministering and just being there to show them, that we do care and there to show them there is hope and not to give up. God has a plan for all of us and he be there for us, thru any storm in our lives. This mission has been a blessing in all our lives, especially for the less fortuante citizens of Gastonia. God will provide a new and bigger home for them, so they see that there is always hope and in helping them keep the faith.

Even though the fence was built and the Bethesda Mission is now closed, we continue to minister to the needs of the less fortunate in our community.
We believe, when God closes one door, he always knows best and will open another, and he has.
The Gaston Rescue Mission has, and will continue to help meet the physical and spiritual needs, with clothing, food, winter shelter, and we now offer some transitional housing for those who want to make a change in their lives.
We are blessed to have other organization's in our community that share the same passion to help our brothers and sisters in need and for that we are grateful.

when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
