Description

This road is essentially a dead end (no outlet without a U onto 118th street) with sharp curves and children playing and people riding bicycles and walking dogs. Traffic coming off 102nd Ave exceeds safe neighborhood speed regularly - exceeding 25 miles per hour, as well as traffic coming from the back of the neighborhood out to 102nd. At dawn or dusk as well on weekends this traffic and their associated speed endangers children and risks anyone trying to enjoy a bicycle ride or walk their animals. There needs to be speed humps or traffic enforcement patrols to catch and deter this behavior before someone gets hurt in a non reversible way. As stated this is not a through street, there is no where to go in such a hurry in this neighborhood, and there are sharp curves that these cars will have to slow down for anyways at the back of the street - so the excessive speed is non-productive even for the driver.
