I also live downwind of this market- it's constant, 7 days a week from 9am to close, and is making me ill. They need to raise the exhuast vent like a silo so it goes above the roof lines. I urge residents to also contact Hudson regional health unit to see what can be done if they are breaking any business protocals.

I get popeyes odors too, but its random. Since this new market opened, its s different smell and constant .

We are not trained to inspect ventilation systems. Forwarded complaint to Building Division.

This is an existing building and is constructed to code. I wish I had a better answer for you. This is definitely a health issue. Our Health Department doesn't have as much ability to problem solve this as the State. I strongly encourage you to call Hudson Regional to investigate. Hopefully they can demand scrubbers be placed into the system or figure out another way to greatly lessen the smell.

Everything is up to code, this needs to be pursued by a State agency for health issues.
