Description
The much loved seabreeze cafe has dangerously high temperatures in the main work area on most sunny days. If it's 70 degrees outside, the SeaBreeze workers will still be working at a near eighty degree temperature. On warmer days it is closer to what one expects in southwest or middle eastern deserts. There is no need to subject workers or customers to heat stroke danger. It requires only some ceiling ventilation to fix. (Something a contractor could do for less than one day's receipts.). The attitude of SeaBreeze workers I spoke to about the work environment was agreement and a sense of resignation, which is pretty scarey, to be honest. This cannot have a positive influence on the food safety either. Higher temps increase the bacterial count.
