Description
How long does it take for public agencies to build a parking lot? Forever. You closed spots. Built a dumb trolley on site to be an office. Where the office worker believes he is handicapped and parks in one of handful of handicapped spaces. Then it takes 9 month to build a flat asphalt space. I don't want your excuses that there were rails in the way. Just open the bloody thing. MWRTA and Framingham. You should be embarrassed

Omg. So you are postponing something that's ready to open now and be something truly beneficial to the city and truly needed so you can cut some ribbons and release some doves.
Bringing extra spots in to the city bring extra patrons allow for further gentrification to little Brazil. And while it sucks for them. Us who are paying the third highest property taxes in the state, it matters to us.
This project has been a disaster from the start. The non-announced closing of 40 spots, with replacement spots nowhere nearby in a garage that cost much less daily due to the location being offsite. Then a silly trolly shows up taking further spots from parkers . While new handicap spots did open, you allowed MWRTA employees to park in them.
Then, you repaved the banana lot and forgot to repaint lines effectively removing guaranteed handicapped spots, where now MWRTA employees park again. As shown in photo. Good going all.
Public transit agency or public nuisance. I think the latter.
If you are good to go with your freaking parking lots open it. Festivities are not required. Let's go already. You have inconvenienced commuters for 10 months and are ready. But now you want to tack on another month cause you want to feel special and have a congressman pat you on your back. It's enough already. Shame on you.
