A traffic circle might do the trick here. I hate them, but it might be the right answer for this intersection.

Yes, there is truly NO way to know that the opposing traffic does not have to stop when turning right onto Sterigere if you're turning left from Harding onto Sterigere which makes following the Stop sign rules impossible. All you know is there's an octagonal shaped sign facing them and they're not stopping. That's what Stop signs are for, is it not? By making them stop before turning right the pedestrian safety issue would also be minimized. Please fix this!

I agree with Bob, I hate traffic circles as well. Although I believe that is the best answer for this specific problem. A traffic light will only cause more problems.

I agree with dfranvo's post, the best solution to this is to have the traffic that wants to turn left from Harding onto Sterigere be directed straight through the intersection, then use the next break in the Boulevard to u-turn back. Could be some minor road improvements to make the execution of this maneuver a bit safer and with more room, but for those in the know it is currently the best way to get onto Sterigere from northbound Harding when there is heavy continuous traffic turning right onto Sterigere. There should also be signage before the Sterigere intersection warning that opposing traffic turning right does not have to stop.

This intersection is similar to the intersection of Plymouth Road and Sandy Hill Road in Plymouth Township where traffic can bear right from SH Rd to Plymouth Rd. There's a traffic light at that intersection and traffic seems to flow fine other than the light never seems to be green at the right time.

People seem to always stop when going around the bend- there is NO stop sign. Then on the other side where they are required to stop, they do not seem to like or want to. I don't see an issue w/ the kids in this area, they seem to stay out of traffics' way. I'm just tired of people stopping going up the curve and then stopping where the sign says "right turn KEEP moving" when coming down the curve. My other issue is with the bridge across from the factory the yellow polls that prevent cars from riding up on the sidewalk are not reflective or bright enough. When I ride through Ntown, I observe things as though I am a visitor and how I could misinterpret its' atrocious road conditions and markings. How about we allocate more funds to fixing the roads and NOT to feeding and supporting the huge illegal population?

I don't think Norristowntwit's comment at the end of his or her last post was racism.
You see, to many people (myself included), the objection to the huge illegal immigrant population is not about race, it's about money.
I also think a case could be made that the comment was actually on topic, as a lot of these road problems listed in clickfix will not be fixed for a long time, if ever, due to inadequate funding, yet just this week the Times Herald reported that the county will shell out $285,000 to fund the cost of pregnant illegal's at Montgomery Hospital, and will also be raising property taxes.

I hadn't read that, so thank you for the information. If the borough is using funds that could be earmarked for roads on illegal immigrant health care, that would be a shame.

Maybe we should start a complaint board on the Housing Authority and Zoning Board who allow the slum lords of Norristown to pack small houses and apartments with numerous illegals and collect enough money to pay the $500 fine every month with no further consequence.

A painted crosswalk and those kids crossing signs would be a start and I can't imagine too costly. Spring weather will be here before you know it.
